Marjenah Hedayat, M.D.
Dr. Hedayat earned her BA from the University of California, Berkeley, in Genetics in 1988 and after finishing two years of cancer research at Washington University, she received her Medical Doctorate degree from the St. Louis University School of Medicine in May of 1994, and completed her Residency training at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital of St. Louis and Summa Health System in Ohio. She has been a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine since 2000. She has been in the practice of medicine since 1999.
Dr. Hedayat enjoys the family oriented approach of her beloved specialty as she believes the core of individual health is in the physical, emotional and spiritual well being of the entire family. Therefore, she focuses her practice on a holistic approach to wellness with attention to nutrition, supplements and emotional and spiritual health. She does have an interest in use of Bio-Identical hormones in appropriate patients.
Dr. Hedayat spends her free time in study of Iranian history and literature as well as educating herself in the current literature and practices in spirituality and self improvement.
