Amy M. Latta, M.D.
Amy M. Latta, M.D. has always enjoyed math and science. She became interested in Medicine during elementary school while watching ill family members. In high school, she was mentored by several physicians, which strengthened her decision to become a physician. She chose Family Medicine because of the enjoyment of developing relationships with people and the continuity of care. Guy L. Culpepper, M.D. was her physician throughout most of her teenage years and his care for her family helped solidify her decision to be a family physician. Amy M. Latta, M.D. chose Bent Tree Family Physicians to practice medicine where she can focus on her care for families.
Amy M. Latta, M.D. takes a conservative approach to medicine. She has a strong desire to partner with her patients in educating them on how to prevent or control their disease and maintain healthy life choices. She has a special interest in pediatrics, hypertension, diabetes, and nutrition.
Amy M. Latta, M.D. resides in Frisco with her husband, son, and daughter. When away from the practice, she enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
