Tami Kang, PA-C
Like most mid-westerners, Tami Kang, PA-C moved to TX to escape the cold permanently. She joined the BTFP family in August of 2017. Previously, she lived in Illinois where she completed her undergraduate degree at Bradley University in Peoria. Shortly after, she left to Phoenix, Arizona to attend Midwestern University where she obtained her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies.
During her graduate years, Tami Kang was accepted into the National Health Service Corps, where she began her commitment to primary care. After graduation, she dedicated 2 years working with underserved communities in Arizona. Today, Tami Kang continues to be advocate for community health and serves as an NHSC mentor.
Tami Kang, PA-C practices full scope of family medicine, seeing patients across the lifespan, treating acute conditions to chronic disease management with emphasis on patient education. She has special interest in adolescent health, geriatric health and preventative health. Outside of medicine, she enjoys tennis, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their french bulldog.
