Terra Davis, PA-C, joined Bent Tree Family Physicians in 2012. She feels honored to have joined a practice that strives for excellence in medicine and also truly cares for the patients. Prior to this, she worked 2.5 years at the HIV clinic at Parkland Hospital, and then 6 years in transplant medicine. At each phase, she has provided comprehensive care for the patients she has served. In 2011, Terra received The National Young Investigator of the Year Award from the American Society of Transplant for her work with infectious diseases. Terra has a passion for helping patients be informed of their own health issues. This enables patients to feel empowered to make a difference in their health. She has had the opportunity to lead numerous patient education classes.
Terra feels that there is great joy in making a difference in someone’s life. Her desire to serve others has taken her internationally, as she has volunteered numerous times on international medical mission trips. Terra also speaks Spanish medically.
Outside of work, she loves being a wife and mother to two young ones. Terra enjoys all outdoor activities, cooking, gardening (she has over 500 irises at home), and photography. She is a leader in her church and teaches Bible Studies regularly.
